Principals + Michelle S. Hooper, AIA

A graduate of The University of Virginia's School of Architecture in 1984, Ms. Hooper excels in coordinating all aspects of a complex design and construction process, for a variety of clients who are experiencing ongoing growth and reorganization. Ms. Hooper joined MCA in 1986 and served as Principal since 2001, managing projects across all market sectors. Her skills include planning, programming, organizing, communicating and monitoring the enormous volume of information generated by complex projects. She excels in managing large teams representing a wide variety of stakeholders, keeping their efforts on track to meet aggressive milestones through clear, consistent communications. Clients rely on her problem-solving and organizing skills for individual design projects as well as post-construction and relocation services. Elected to the position of Vice President/Corporate Secretary by MCA's Board of Directors in 2013, Ms. Hooper applies these same skills to the daily operations and management of MCA, including human resources, project staffing and project performance. Ms. Hooper has participated as a member of the Construction Industry Education Foundation, The Building Congress & Exchange, and WomenBuild: Women in Construction.
