Marketing and Business Development are important activities that contribute directly to the long-term success of MCA. To this end, we are delighted to introduce our new Marketing and Business Development leaders: MCA Principal Ed Gillikin, AIA, LEED AP, VCCO, and Director of Marketing Naomi Wong Hemme, MBA, Assoc. AIA.
Ed’s 30-year-plus career in architecture and facilities management gives him a unique and invaluable perspective that has helped guide MCA’s business development strategy since he joined the firm through our merger in 2021. In addition to taking on an active management role as principal-in-charge on a number of our projects, Ed continues to provide leadership and guidance to MCA’s business development efforts. When not working hard, Ed can often be found holding down the beat as drummer for a local Richmond band.
With a bachelor’s degree in economics and an MBA, and after a substantial corporate career in communications and public relations that spanned close to two decades, Naomi embarked on her second career in architecture with MCA in 2021 after receiving her Master of Architecture degree. Naomi is excited about combining her skills and experience in business management, communications, and architecture as she embraces this new role as MCA’s Director of Marketing.
