Mace’s Lane Community Center

Marshall Craft is excited to collaborate with the Mace’s Lane Community Center, Inc., the City of Cambridge, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Baltimore, and the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation to create a community center at the former Mace’s Lane School. Built in 1952, the iconic Mace’s Lane High School (later Junior High School) is an important local landmark as it served an all-African American student population until the schools within the county were racially integrated in 1969. We are honored to be a small part of bringing this project to life to honor the history of the African American educational experience in Cambridge.
