Behavioral Health

At Marshall Craft, effectively planning and designing a safe, healing environment for individuals receiving behavioral healthcare involves bringing together an experienced team of healthcare planners, architects, and designers. Our integrated team collaborates with stakeholders, including clinicians and healthcare providers, facilities professionals, and contractors, to envision, plan, and design an environment to support the latest models of care. Our design process includes planning and programming, a safety/risk assessment, design charrettes, mock-ups with finishes and furniture, simulation/role-playing, and post-occupancy evaluations.

Knowledge

Marshall Craft’s healthcare specialists include architects and designers with an extensive knowledge base to implement research-informed decisions. We analyze our project and program needs and our client’s care delivery model to integrate the right design strategy by incorporating biophilia, LEAN principles, and research insights to establish clear value-added opportunities and support better care and a healthy bottom line.

Vision

As healthcare systems reorganize, adapt, and transition services between inpatient and outpatient care, it is important to understand what assets they have so that those physical resources can be aligned with their long-term strategic plan. We work alongside our clients to collect the right data and establish a clear vision for transforming their facilities to be more flexible and adaptable for their future needs. Our services can include recording new properties, assessing existing holdings, and identifying opportunities for more efficient space management and utilization leading to increased organizational gain.
