For over two decades, Marshall Craft has been a trusted design partner of Sheppard Pratt, providing a range of planning, architectural, interior design, and facilities solutions services. The projects we work on include inpatient, outpatient, residential, transitional, education, recreation/fitness, and therapeutic spaces. Our work supports Sheppard Pratt’s holistic therapeutic approach to provide individualized, compassionate, comprehensive care that enables healing and encourages a full recovery.

The Institute for Advanced Diagnostics and Therapeutics, located in the Weinberg Building on Sheppard Pratt’s flagship campus, models the clinic of the future, showcasing advancements in behavioral health research, therapy, and design. The 7,700-square-foot institute houses the Center of Excellence for Psilocybin Research and Treatment, in partnership with COMPASS Pathways, a state-of-the-art treatment space that includes patient intake and therapy rooms and associated staff workspace.

Biophilic design principles are incorporated into every aspect of this research facility and innovation lab. The selection of materials, plants, art, color, and natural light is thoughtfully curated to improve the patient experience. The institute also includes an outdoor garden and water feature providing contemplative respite.
